Hello! I'm Simone Esquibel (she/her/hers).
I'm a psychotherapist located in the coastal Carolinas which includes Little River, Longs, North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, Murrell's Inlet, SC and Calabash, Brunswick County, NC.
My therapeutic approach is focused on meeting each person where they are at; seeing their uniqueness and strengths and using these as the foundations for bringing about desired change, acceptance, and helping one see their own strengths.
I have a variety of tools in my "tool box" and strive to use the tools/techniques that resonate most for each individual. Including but not limited to:

- Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Psychodynamic
- Mindfulness
- Somatic Work
- Guided Imagery
- Art Process
In most situations, it's usually a combination of several approaches that work best.
Since obtaining my Masters in Clinical Social Work in 2004, much of my experience has focused on supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD/ADD, and grief. I also work with individuals who are part of the LGBTQ+ community.
